HRA is Champion Club – again!

The HRA has once again been crowned VCRS Champion Club for 2025 — an outstanding achievement.
Congratulations to all HRA member competitors whose commitment, preparation and performances across the season made this possible. Your efforts truly delivered a result to be proud of.
The Victorian Club Rally Series continues to thrive thanks to the involvement of a broad range of Victorian car clubs, representing decades of rallying history and grassroots motorsport culture. Participating club plays a vital role — entering competitors, supplying officials, and taking responsibility for delivering events that meet the high standards expected of modern rallying. The healthy rivalry between clubs, combined with strong collaboration behind the scenes, is what gives the VCRS its unique character and enduring strength.
With the challenge of organising closed-road, special-stage rallies in 2025 greater than ever — from regulatory demands to volunteer fatigue — the HRA would also like to sincerely thank the officials and organising teams behind every VRC/VCRS event this year. Across all clubs, hundreds of volunteers gave their time, expertise and energy to make each rally possible. Your dedication keeps our sport alive and thriving.
A special mention must go to the HRA team who stepped up to support Melbourne University Car Club in delivering the Akademos Rally. This cooperation between clubs is a perfect example of the spirit that underpins the VCRS.
John Downs, Dee Knight, Joel Wald, Jeanne Smith, Barry Johnston and David Johns all took on senior roles, ensuring the event not only ran — but, by all reports, was a huge success.
Well done to everyone involved — competitors, officials and clubs alike — for another memorable year of Victorian rallying.
